A regular clean keeps a house looking after itself. A deep clean is the one that goes after everything a regular clean walks past: the inside of the oven, the grout that has stopped being white, the top of the door frames, behind the fridge and under it. Most people book one when something has changed — a move, a birth, a stretch of months where nobody had time. It is also what a house needs before regular cleaning can actually keep up, because you cannot maintain a level you have not reached yet.
The work is slower on purpose. Oven racks come out and soak instead of being wiped. Bathroom grout gets scrubbed rather than mopped over. Baseboards, switch plates, door tops and the tracks of sliding doors all get touched, and those are exactly the places people notice a week later when the light hits differently. In Houston the two that matter most are bathroom grout and air vents. The humidity here does not let a bathroom fully dry between uses, so mildew starts in the grout line and in the caulk long before it is visible on the tile. Vents collect a greasy dust that a dry cloth just moves around. Both need the time a deep clean is for.
Before anything starts we go through the house with you, so nothing gets discovered halfway through the afternoon. You point out what has been bothering you and we tell you honestly what the day will cover.
These take the longest and set the pace for everything else. Oven, grout, tile, behind the appliances — the work that a regular clean never has time for.
Bedrooms and living areas worked top to bottom, so dust falls once instead of being chased around the room. Vents, fans, door tops, baseboards.
Floors are last because everything above them is already done. Then we go through it together before we leave, and anything you are not happy with we fix while we are still there.
