Post-Construction Cleaning in Houston

Drywall dust, paint spots and sticker residue after the trades leave — in Houston and all around it.

When the trades finish, the place is not finished. Drywall dust has settled into everywhere it can reach, there are paint spots on hardware and glass, stickers on every new appliance and window, and a fine grey film on surfaces that looked clean an hour ago. This is the job most general cleaners quietly decline, because it is not one clean. It is at least two, and the second one is the one that matters.

What's included

Drywall dust is the whole problem. It is fine enough to stay in the air for hours, so anything cleaned in the first pass gets a new layer while you are still working. The way through it is to do the rough pass, let the air settle, and come back — which is why we plan the job that way instead of promising it in one visit. After that it is detail work: adhesive residue off appliance fronts and window glass, paint specks off hinges, switch plates and tile, grout haze, and the inside of cabinets nobody has opened yet.

How we work

We look at it first

The amount of dust decides the plan, and you cannot judge that from a description. A finished remodel and a finished build need very different amounts of time.

Rough pass

Bulk debris out, then the heavy dust taken down from the top so it falls once. This is the pass that makes the place look finished — and it is not the one that finishes it.

Let the air settle

Drywall dust hangs in the air for hours. Cleaning through it just moves it around, so we let it come down before the pass that counts.

Detail pass, then handover

Adhesive residue, paint specks, grout haze, glass and fixtures. Then a final walk with you or the builder before anyone moves in.

Post-Construction Cleaning by city

Houston and the towns around it are not one job — the houses, the schedules and the reasons people call are different in each.

Common questions

Why does it need two passes?
Drywall dust stays airborne for hours. Anything cleaned early gets a fresh layer before you finish. One pass looks clean the day of and grey the next morning.
Do you work with builders and remodelers?
Yes, and on new construction in Katy and Cypress it is a regular part of what we do. Tell us the handover date and we will work back from it.
Can you do it after a small remodel?
Yes. One bathroom or one kitchen makes the same dust as a whole house, just in less space — and it spreads through the rest of the house anyway.
